WINTER RALLY SCHOOL

RE. TRANSPORTATION OF RALLY-CARS FROM UK TO NORWAY

THERE IS NOW a practical and cheaper possibility to transport cars/trailers from Immingham UK to Brevik in Norway. There are two sailings per week with DFDS/ Tor Line, Lysline.
The ferry is a cargo-ship, but has also a few cabins. The way to do it, is that one person goes with towing-car/Rallycar to Brevik, and the rest of the group flies by

Ryanair to Torp Airport. Torp Airport is 1 hour drive from Brevik, and on the way to Geilo. The person in the towing-car picks up the rest at Torp Airport. Driving from Torp Airport to Geilo takes 4 hours.

We will alter the timing of the courses for drivers from the UK, and those courses will run from Tuesdays to Thursday evening to synchronise with the ferries. The ferry leaves Immingham Saturdays at 16.00, arrives Brevik Monday 02.00.  The first flights from the UK / Ireland / Glasgow arrives Torp from about 08.00 in the morning. The ferry leaves Brevik Friday 02.30 and arrives Immingham 10.00 Saturday.

The price on the ferry is £ 50 per meter one-way. Max height 4,20 m. This includes cabin and food for one person.  + 20 % tax.
If any extra person, + £ 65 per person.
The course fee for a 3 days course will be reduced to £ 900.
